Qualifications:

Richard Bawden works in various media including watercolour, etching, linocut and also glass engraving. He has produced illustrations for many books, as well as murals, mosaics and furniture. He is closely linked with the 'Bardfield Artists' through his father Edward Bawden, and his mother Charlotte. He studied at Chelsea College of Art, St Martins and the Royal College, and has also taught drawing and printmaking. He is a Council member of the Royal Watercolour Society and a member of the New English Art Club and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. His work is held in many public and private collections including the V&A, Tate, The Queen's Collection at Windsor, and the Government Art Collection.<br>
