LOCATION
Saffron Walden is a beautiful old market town situated north of Great Dunmow and Thaxted and surrounded by attractive villages. The Gallery is a few yards down a pathway leading from Castle Street to Bridge End Gardens, a Victorian landscaped garden open to the public.
The nearest British Rail station is two miles away at Audley End. There is an irregular 'bus service from the station to Saffron Walden, but visitors are advised to make their own enquiries. There are usually taxis waiting at the station.
Cambridge is 15 miles to the north; London 45 miles to the south and the M11 motorway passes nearby.
